      Helium (He)<\/h2>\n

      NIGP \u2013 Oman <\/strong>is one of the largest suppliers of helium, catering to the needs of several industries. We transport helium in cylinders and tube trailers.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Helium is used as a carrier in gas chromatography by labs and calibration units. The healthcare industry also widely uses helium as a cooling fluid for MRI, NMR or EPR magnets and breathing mixture for those with poor lung functioning. Helium is also used in breathing mixtures for divers.<\/span><\/p>\n

      The metal fabrication industry uses helium as a protective atmosphere for arc welding. In the electronics sector, it is used as a cooling agent for superconducting magnets. Helium is also used in growing crystals to make silicon wafers and in inflation balloons (weather balloons and air balloons).<\/span><\/p>\n
